What a Lie! Mumuso is a Chinese Company Claiming to be a Korean Company!

in #business6 years ago (edited)

Korea is on to this Chinese company now. Hah! I wonder what they will do about it. How low can China's Mumuso get, spreading lies and/or misleading people from who knows how many countries?

➡️The Issue

If you don't believe me, here's a Korean feature video on what they discovered about Mumuso in March 2018.

Upon checking, as of May 24, 2018 they already have about 600 branches worldwide!!! 😱 And they plan to add 150 more! Omg.

Good thing I am not a fan of Mumuso or Miniso and all that because I would be very angry if I was deceived like the rest of the population. They market themselves as a Korean company, have a Korean company address when in fact as Koreans discovered, it's not even in Korea!

Vietnam has investigated this issue just this May and during the press con Mumuso representatives were not able to clear up this issue. I haven't checked if even Daiso is "fake."

Wow China you're not only a bully now, you're also a big liar. Hah. I'd like to generalize and say what else can you expect from China business people right? But there are ethical ways to do business and still be successful like the inspiring story of Jack Ma and his Alibaba. So okay it's the Mumuso company's fault not the entire country but still the audacity of these people to do this? What are they teaching in their schools???

My goodness. China needs help. A bully has insecurities and so covers it up by being power trippers and liars and such but how can you help an entire country?

➡️The Product/s

And look, I found a video comparing an original Korean product with a Mumuso/Chinese imitation (what's new, they always make really cheap "fake products" that we poor or middle class people keep buying).

Basically she says Mumuso aloe vera moisturizer isn't good because it causes skin bumps and break outs. Well after watching that I finally realized it's the culprit to my tiny face bumps when I sometimes use it!!! Damn. No way am I going to put it on my face ever again.

Maybe I should use it as a hand moisturizer instead then. Or feet moisturizer. What the heck Mumuso. Isn't misleading customers punishable by law? That's why there's an advertising council right?

➡️What now?

The question is, who else will call them out? Will Koreans file a case? Or will any advertising industry do so? Hmmm... to think the video was released in March and there's still no change happening aside from the one in Vietnam?

I've tagged our government department's Facebook page and a media personality about the Facebook video version and the YouTube one on Twitter. If you can do that too maybe they will look into it as well for us to have an investigation on this matter.

Actually it is the Chinese government that must investigate on this too but we're not in China so let's see what we can do about this.

Tsk tsk. At least if you're not irked by this news at all you're now aware that the products are supposedly low quality or not that good and the company address they are using is not correct and if you have a complaint about the product, where will you complain about it if they have a fake address? They do not have a phone number or email so all you can contact are the local social media accounts.

The above is what's on the back of their aloe vera gel that was gifted to me.

So what else have we learned about all this?

If it's too cheap, it's an imitation from China.

China should do something about it's citizens. From Communism they have now become Capitalists but look what Capitalism is doing to them. Have they become money hungry people? Will they be happy because of it? Let's see.

Thanks for the info.

You're welcome.

I wish I could give you a bigger upvote, but this is some nice detective work from you.

China is in a bit bad reputation in Europe too, as they are not the most trustworthy business owners and salesmen in general, but their reputation has been improving since the last decades.

Awww... It's ok. Any upvote from you is appreciated. ❤️ (A resteem would be fine too. Lol.)

Well let's hope they continue to improve on how they do business. They're a big country and they have to get better or else. 😂

Imagine if they improve their business so much they will be actually better than anyone else?

Then people would make products pretending to be Chinese products... "What, this is not actually made in China, it's made in Korea! Terrible!"

Hahahaha! True! :D Imagine the day that happens. Hahaha that's a better perspective!

Napaisip nga rin ako kahapon kung pati daiso kasama rin. May mga nabasa kasi ako dati sa price tag na made in china. hahaha

Baka pati Daiso. Di ko pa kasi nacheck pero parang ganun n nga.

parang lahat na ata ng gamit sa mundo made in china.

Hay nako mga taksil talaga yan hahahahahuhu
