Hello steemians,

I went to Philippe Villeneuve Park in Terrebonne to watch a soccer game where my friend's son was playing. The evening sky was tinged with shades of pink and orange creating a serene atmosphere for this sporting event. When I arrived, I sat in the stands to support my friend's team wearing a black t-shirt with a white inscription reading "PUMP UP THE VOLUME." The atmosphere on the field was lively with young players in action dressed in green and red jerseys.

The game had started at a fast pace. Every pass and every shot seemed charged with the energy of youth the spectators around me were just as invested in the game as the players themselves. As the first half progressed, I watched closely noticing the ardor and determination of these young athletes. Their motivation and unity on the field were palpable and I couldn’t help but feel drawn in by the game's intensity.

At the end of the first half, I decided to do a little exploring around the park. As I was walking around, I discovered an adjacent baseball field where a game was taking place between children. This was my first time watching a baseball game in person and despite the age of the players, I was fascinated by their skill and seriousness. The sound of the bat hitting the ball, the cheers of the spectators and the focused attention of the children on the field created a new and captivating experience for me.

I found myself spending a good half hour watching this game. The children, although young, displayed great mastery of the game. Every pitch, every run to a base was executed with precision and enthusiasm. I felt a deep admiration for their dedication and passion for the sport. The referee, standing a few meters away from me, watched every move with attentive vigilance ensuring that the game was played according to the rules.

Once the baseball game was over, I returned to the soccer field to watch the second half. The sun had almost set and the floodlights illuminated the field, creating an electric atmosphere. The intensity of the soccer game had increased, with each team trying to gain an advantage. My attention was riveted on every move and every strategy deployed by the young players. Their endurance and perseverance were remarkable.

The game finally ended with a score of 3-2 in favor of my friend's son's team. The joy and excitement of the players were contagious and I joined in the applause of the other spectators. It was a memorable evening, marked by the discovery of baseball and the excitement of soccer. As I drove home, I couldn't help but think of these young athletes and the bright future that awaited them. These simple but intense moments of sport remind us of the importance of play in the training of young people, not only as athletes but also as future responsible and passionate adults.
