i actually owned a guesthouse in southern Thailand for a number of years and tired very quickly of the people that had the audacity to complain about certain things. I had a policy of giving anyone their money back if they turned up and didn't like their room (provided they hadn't messed it up already). I would have rather gotten them out of there and not have the money than to deal with what i know will be constant whining.
