Union Budget 2018: Applaudable or Disappointing

in #budget7 years ago (edited)

I'll not make this post very long. I don't have that much of knowledge to share with you guys but what I really know or think is more important

When BJP-led Government came to the power in 2014 after winning Loksabha Elections, everyone including me started dreaming of birth of a new era, a corruption-free India. Time went by and all those dreams started to disappear.

This Government has almost destroyed the Banking Sector by reducing the interest rate given to its citizen. Now, I know there will be a long debate on this. But, I don't want to be involved in any kind of illogical arguments.

Middle-class people always think of savings and they do think of Banks in the first place. Senior Citizens (above 65+), Retired persons, etc almost everybody thinks of a hefty amount to be put into Bank and earn a certain amount of interest which could be essential for many to live on. That much of interest could be someone's only bread and butter while there will be no opportunity for income or job or health issues.

This BJP-led Government is not we call a common man's government. They don't think for us and they don't want to do that.

This Union Budget 2018 is no surprise. The Finance Minister Mr. Arun Jaitley presented the year's Union Budget in the Lower House (Lok Sabha)

I am not going into the nitty-gritty of the Budget, nor am I dissecting the post-budget session. What I am trying to mean here through this post of mine is that Mr. Arun Jaitley has almost killed the hopes of all Indians to explore the unexplored Crypto World. He says Screenshot_1.png

Bitcoin and other popular coins like Ripple, Ethereum, etc are not considered to be a Legal Tender here in India but, our government is more keen on looking at the use of Blockchain Technology in payment systems.

Out Govt. will take measures to dispose of utilization of crypto-resources in financing ill-conceived exercises or as a major aspect of the instalment framework, the Finance Minister said.

Would the announcement made by the Finance Minister today anyhow impact the functionality or work ethics of STEEMIT or its earning through this system?

Do Indians really need to worry further? Do they really need to panic so much that they start powering down all their Steem Power to safeguard their Investments? I don't have an answer and I leave it to the community to decide the fate of all Indians on Steemit Platform and I do believe that there are ways and will always be..
