temporary temple and a cute little dog too!
In my adventures yesterday I came upon a temple that was still in the process of being built and some of the entrances were covered in construction debris and supplies. Therefore, while the structure was impressive in its half-complete state, another facility had been constructed to serve the religious needs of the small community it was in.
Not the most impressive building, but considering that it will likely be taken away once the main facility is complete i think it is more than sufficient. There wasn't anyone around so I don't know how popular this place is. However, I did make a friend while i was there and it was the best kind of friend.
His name is "Bo-dee" and he was very friendly. I don't know what makes some dogs have a tongue that they can't or don't want to put fully back in their mouths but i thought he was extremely cute.
just another day of slight adventure. My life changed for the better when i decided to "get lost" a little bit almost every day. I highly recommend it!
well encountering a little fluffy pal always brightens my day as well. I have a small dog in my house who gets very jealous when i come back after having touched another dog though. I wold have given "Bodie" belly rubs anyway though.
interesting. There is a Burmese restaurant in my city as well. I'll have to give that Tea leaf salad a go. I tend to like the stuff like Isaan food but sometimes i am not in the mood for a spice challenge. Thai food can be quite challenging with this spice sometimes so this could be a nice break.
