Hi @chebee, welcome to steemit.
I just came across your post by chance.
Yes I have once been to Budapest back in c 1984 when I was a student. I was travelling on an Interrail pass around Europe. I spent 4 or 5 days staying with a family just outside Budapest. Very enjoyable time.
One small tip. You might want to add some information about what you are interested in on your profile page. It will encourage people to follow you.
You should also do a full introductory post and make the first tag introduceyourself
You will get more visibility then and the introductory bots will find you.
Good luck and if you need any help just leave a comment on one of my recent posts.
Ohh 1984 was long time ago... Last some years changing many things in Budapest, so you have to come again :-)
This site is very new for me so I will follow your advice.
Thank you for your help.
Good luck!

Budapest is indeed a beautiful, vibrant and amazing city. Last week I returned from a month-long stay in Budapest and I hope I'll go there again soon.
