My First Trade on Bitshares Decentralized Exchange (DEX)

Your DEX account has been created and Funds have been deposited in your trading wallet/account.
Now you have to make your trading decision. Before doing this, your need to create a trading plan. As the old saying goes "Plan Your Trade, and Trade Your Plan".

Lets take this example.

Trader A has $100 and wants to start a trade of BTC/BTS pair for the first time. The $100 is in bitcoin which was deposited in the previous tutorial. https://steemit.com/bitshares/@trizle/how-to-deposit-funds-to-bitshares-decentralized-exchange.

Trading pair: BTC/BTS:
This simply means, You have Bitcoin and you want to trade it with Bitshares. In other words, you want sell BTC to buy BTS

How to Place a Buy Order:

1. Click Exchange
   the exchange takes you to the market place where you can trade lots of your favorite coins like BTC, LTC, ETH, DASH and other altcoins.

How the market page look like

Select the BTC/BTS pair as described below.

1. Click your BTC balance
2. Select the buy order price at the top of the Buy Order table.
3. Enter desired amount of BTS to buy (100BTS in this example)
4. Click Confirm

After this steps, you wait for your order to fill.

Note: to execute a trade on the DEX, you need to have at little as 1BTS in your account. a friend can borrow you 1 BTS.
