Education: Education is highly valued in Korean culture, and South Korea has one of the highest literacy rates in the world. The country also has a highly competitive education system, with students often studying long hours and attending private after-school academies known as hagwons.

Sports: Sports are popular in Korea, with soccer, baseball, and basketball being among the most popular. Taekwondo, a martial art that originated in Korea, is also widely practiced and recognized as an Olympic sport.

Palaces and temples: Korea has a rich history of architecture and art, and many historic palaces and temples still stand today. Some of the most popular include Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul, and Bulguksa Temple in Gyeongju.
