Development Update: Full Node Testing, Desktop Client, Wallet, BTD Coin Distribution Plan and Technical Advancements.
In the last couple weeks, we’ve made continuous progress in product development. This week we will be providing development updates, as well as announcing the final close of our Token distribution plan. The user will be able to download Desktop client to receive their BTD coins soon.

Development
Bitcoin Dollar (BTD): As many of you know, our developers have been working on a design of our Clients, mobile and desktop wallets. The design is well underway and will include:
· Fundamental bitcoin core layout changes
. Testing Mining Algorithm {SHA256(ASIC), Equihash and Optimized x15 GPU/CPU}.
· Distribution protocols [Mining(POW)/consensus(DPOS)]
· Preparation for replay protection and lightweight wallet integration
· Beta testing client
· DApp integration and Smart Contract protocol
We know how important design will be for the community who will adopt our platform, so we refuse to cut corners as we make major improvements.
In addition, a group of our developers had been working alongside community for the last couple weeks. Our team is making significant progress on our initial wallet and client testing. We will continue testing and development of the integration and will inform our community when the integration is complete.

Client
Closed beta testing of our desktop mining client and PC application is well underway. Our most recent client version is tested positively. This beta version will have a number of active features including:
· Mainnet update and Chain encryption.
· GPU/ CPU multipool mining of bitcoin Dollar (rewards users with BTD).
· Multilevel authentication integration connected to our signature web wallet.
· Unconfirmed mining balances.
We are currently working on integrating BTD and other mining to offer the highest multipool profitability. To be clear, any coin mined with our client will be automatically exchanged for BTD. Finally, we are also working on the integration of BTD to be used as an alternative method of payment for Third Party Client (Sporting etc.).

Token Distribution plan
Late last week, we announced we would be distributing BTD token to our contributors. (opposed to the BTD coins). We decided to cancel the plan due to security reasons. This will give users security, control and to transfer out holdings to BTD designated new wallet. Now that BTD coin will be available soon for both Desktop and Mobile devices, we feel it is time to cancel the plan of token distribution and let the coin remaining in user dashboard until our new wallets are available for download.
If you are one of the users with coins still curious about the plan, please raise your concern related to the new wallet.

BTD Wallet
A design of our signature web wallet is currently underway. Our goal is to follow a design theme similar to block explorer which was updated a few weeks ago. On the backend of development, we are working on paper wallet integration. This will allow users to import private keys into the web wallet when they are ready to initiate a transfer.
On the mobile side, we are working on design updates for our iOS and Android mobile wallets. As a reminder, these wallets will be connected to the BTD Wallet and use a unique form of security features. We encourage our community to download these wallets and enable features from the settings page.
