Preev.com shows live Bitcoin price, updated approximately once a minute, If your looking for a simple minimalist update of Bitcoin price, or want to send a link to someone who is not cryptocurrency savvy,  preev.com is a good choice. The sources available are Bitfinex, Bitstamp, BTC-E, and Local Bitcoins.

You can choose to look at any individual source by clicking the settings in the top-right, or reset to default. You should note that choosing Local Bitcoins as the source gives a vastly higher amount then the other three to compensate for the convenience of the service and risk management of the deal ( local sales of bitcoin can be for cash, money order, paypal, credit card, escrow, etc but this medium is plagued by reversed charges and various other bait and switch shenanigans, causing a raising of price to mitigate risk of loss).

You can choose to calculate value in over 64 different currencies and have the option to bookmark your preferred choice. The default mode when viewing Preev.com is a combination of all price index sources except local bitcoins, and converted to USD (although this may be based on location).
