Gauntlet Goes To BSC
If you've been following any of the latest announcements you will have already heard it, Gauntlet has moved to the BSC ecosystem. These announcements took place on December 17th, 2021. As per the updates, we swapped our user's PoS coins to BEP tokens during the period January 4th to February 15th, 2022.
Why did we move to another blockchain?
As you may already be aware, Gauntlet was using an outdated fork of PIVX as their blockchain. This presented some future-based modification and upgrade challenges which would in turn require additional time, development, and costs. Upon analysing the situation we decided that in order to avoid any other future roadblocks ahead, we would consider migrating to another blockchain where our time, money, and development activities would be better spent. We looked at various options, including the Ethereum and Fantom chains however Binance was the one that shined through for us.
What are the benefits of the Binance Smart Chain?
There are many benefits to operating on the Binance Smart Chain. Usability, low fees, and multi-faceted scalability were key factors in making the correct decision alongside, the presence of smart contract capabilities. With low fees, well-known dependability, a thriving ecosystem, staking, smart chain technology, and an expanding array of user types, not to mention the services attached to the chain, we were left with a resounding yes to the BSC chain.

Here are some of our credentials now that we are operating on the Binance Smart Chain.
We propose that the Tx Fees hold at 4% for the time being and this will cater for the following payments. These will be amended in due course.
1% — Gamer Play to Earn Rewards, 1% — GAU Token Holder Rewards, 1% -Marketing/Administrative, 1% — Liquidity Pool
About the GAU Swap
The Swap started on the 5th of January, 2022, and lasted until February, 2022. There was no option to Swap after that, and the coins that were not claimed were put to a vote in the community as to what to do with them. The community decided to burn 30% of the tokens, keep 30% of them for marketing and promotional purposes, and finally lock 40% of them as liquidity.
The ratio of the Swap was 1:1.

Going with the Binance Smart Chain gives us perks such as the use of the BSC Scan tool. This is a very handy service offered which showcases all data available in an online ledger-type presentation for all BSC blockchain-based tokens. Data types include; contract details, holders, transactions, DEX transactions, and much more.

You must first create a wallet with them. You can go here to learn how to set up a wallet. I cannot make it simpler than what they have done here themselves 😊
You then must connect your wallet to Pancake Swap in order to receive and send GAU tokens. You can do this easily by following the instructions here.
You can now provide liquidity if you wish to help the project and make additional tokens too. You need to learn about liquidity here.
Subsequent Exchanges
