Brooklyn Nine-Nine Was Saved From Cancellation
The May cull of our favourite programs came around. One of the biggest shocks was the news from Fox that Brooklyn Nine-Nine was being cancelled after five glorious seasons.
A large backlash swept in from fans once the news broke which kicked NBC into action. Soon they announced that they had saved the program from the chopping board.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine co-executive producer Andy Bobrow Borrow told fans that they had been preparing for the worst for a while now, but no-one expected it to come round so soon. Andy told fans that “The news of the cancellation was really sudden” but the news it has been renewed will bring relief to the team behind the show.
Fans have been celebrating the news online, and have been optimistic about more than one season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine on its new home on NBC. Rumours have started again about a Brooklyn Nine-Nine musical.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine will happily return to NBC in 2019 for its sixth glorious season.
