The Bridgerton series. How does cinema influence interior fashion?

The historical drama from Netflix "The Bridgertons" was released at the end of December 2020 and immediately became a hit. In the wake of its popularity, the demand for antique and vintage furniture has increased. The interiors of the two families — the Bridgerton and Featherington - are almost the opposite. The series clearly shows the difference in the directions of interior design in the old days.

The Bridgertons are tasteful, Regency minimalists, their favorite colors are blue and highlighted tones of blue and amethyst.

The drama provoked a sharp increase in the sale of expensive jewelry, clothing and furniture in the early 1800s. The success of the "Bridgertons" probably caused a sharp jump in sales of furniture of the XVIII and XIX centuries.

Of course, it was not without scandals. Some viewers noticed the incredible similarity of the interiors with the equally sensational TV series "The Crown". Some shots from the series are very similar, up to the complete identity of the cabinet of the Queen and the Duke.

However, the scandal quickly faded away, because it was explained to the users of the network that the use of historical locations in films and TV series prohibits the rearrangement of furniture and interior changes.

Since the series has been renewed for a second season, viewers expect to see new charming locations and vintage furniture stores, a large influx of buyers.
