Trump imposes conditions to support London in the Brexit negotiations.
In an interview published in The Sun newspaper, Trump criticized May's strategy for Brexit and said the proposed free-trade zone would "probably kill" a free trade agreement between Washington and London.
US President Donald Trump has stepped down in criticism of the management of the 'Brexit' and has encouraged British PM Theresa May to sign an agreement allowing trade between the United States and the United Kingdom.
"But whatever they do is fine for me. That is your decision. Whatever you do is okay with us. Just make sure we can trade together, that's all that matters to the United States", Trump told a news conference in London.
