Brennan Furious, Trump revoking his Security Clearance, some deem it more than justified! Other clearances being reviewed!

What a Look! Yikes!

Do you suppose this is the Literal Face Brennan makes every time he tweets out his venom concerning the President?

When Sanders gave the press briefing she said, the President has a constitutional responsibility to protect classified information.

According to Sanders, they are reviewing any security clearance as they deem necessary!

She is right on target as usual!

And, there are others being reviewed! As part of the full statement from our Commander and Chief he states,

"As part of this review I am evaluating action with respect to the following individuals: James Clapper, James Comey, Michael Hayden, Sally Yates, Susan Rice, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, and Bruce Ohr. Security clearances for those who still have them may be revoked and those who have already lost their security clearance may not be able to have it reinstated. It is for the forgoing reasons that I have exercised my constitutional authority to deny Mr. Brennan access to classified information and I will direct appropriate staff of the National Security Council to make the necessary arrangements with the appropriate agencies to implement this determination."

This is what Steve Watson had to say,

“With John Brennan I think he should have had his clearance revoked for cause. He leaked information that came out in the media that we had a double agent in Yemen, when we were going after the underwear bomber, there still is a bomber in Yemen. He leaked that to the media.” Paul exclaimed.

“The double agent was still there,” Paul added, “He put that agent’s life at risk. John Brennan should have been fired for that.” The Senator said.

Paul also noted that there are questions over whether Brennan lied to the House Intelligence committee concerning details of the Clinton campaign funding the fake Trump intelligence dossier.

“He said ‘I didn’t know,’ so there are two possibilities. He’s either lying, or he’s incompetent. Because he was in charge of the CIA and they are using this fake dossier, and no one bothered to ask who paid for it?” Paul urged.

The Senator noted that Brennan routinely calls Trump ‘treasonous’, saying “apparently that is calling for the death penalty for the President, yet he still wants access to the nation’s secrets, crazy.”

A great commenter had this to say and a good link in a reddit concerning this,

*Saw a Washington Post article reference Executive Order 12968 for security clearances. The article cited Sec. 5.2 on appealing revocation but left out referencing this part: EO 12968 Sec. 2.1(b)(4) Access to classified information shall be terminated when an employee no longer has a need for access.

Brennan is no longer an agency employee and can re-apply if in a profession requiring clearance.

After looking at the document, I noticed this,

Sec. 1.2 Access to Classified Information. (a) No employee shall be granted access to classified information unless that employee has been determined to be eligible in accordance with this order and to possess a need-to-know

Sec. 6.2 4b Employees are encouraged and expected to report any information that raises doubts as to whether another employee’s continued eligibility for access to classified information is clearly consistent with the national security
