Breastfeeding is Love

Breastfeeding is the best way to feed your babies from 0-2yrs old.

I post it again to express more story of mine. Just keep reading.

Early breast milk (milk that is produced in the first postpartum week) is known as colostrum. Colostrum contains protein, fat, secretory immunoglobulin A (IgA), & minerals. The high IgA levels in colostrum are essentially immune cells that will provide passive immunity for the infant & protect the baby against enteric bacteria! After about 1 week postpartum, ‘mature milk’ with protein, fat, lactose, & water is produced. It is interesting to note that the contents of breast milk evolves & changes along with the baby! This is part of the reason why the CDC & the American Academy of Pediatrics recommend #breastfeeding. Other potential benefits of breastfeeding include a lower incidence of allergies, upper respiratory infections & GI infections in the baby and maternal weight loss!

That baby girl is my elder. I breastfeed her before and it last just for 6 months, because I got pregnant and we notice that she loss weight maybe because she latch less milk in me. So we decide to stop breastfeed her instead we feed formula for her.

After I gave birth with my second baby and its a boy, I am currently breastfeeding right now.


And now he is 3 months and counting. We celebrate yesterday his 3rd months, we just prepared chocolate cake. Hoping next time soon not just cake. “Haha” but the most important is good health and happy always.

Thanks God for this wonderful power that he give to us after we gave birth to our child. I am so happy that I can produce milk and nothing worry about my baby’s health and his nutrients. Breastfeeding is not only just a milk but it is also a Love that nothing can compare to anything.

Note *we understand that breastfeeding is not always an option for some mothers, we do not tend to offer or hurt any, we know that a mother does everything that it takes for her baby ❤️❤️ love
