We find it in our #toothpaste, powdered #foods and even in our #glass of wine (both the glass and the wine, as a fining agent)!

PS: Did you know that all the sand needed to construct Dubaii and the fake new islands came from Australia? It is because the desert-sand is too fine grained so it cannot be used in constructions. Imagine that... Selling sand to the arabs, well - it did happen.

It is time to rethink our urbanization and construction plan. There is no future for non reusable construction material, or a way to recycle them(concrete...). There is a limit to place and resource on this small planet...
The Sand Mafia needs to be stopped - it might be too late, but they need to be stopped at all cost. The sandbanks are the walls that prevent the ocean-waves from washing in on land, without them - every coastal city in the world will sink like Atlantis.
Please spread awareness about the Sand-Wars, because it is a real threat to every single one of us - and nobody seems to be talking about it.

Yeah, I am trying to make as many people aware of this as possible. It is a real environmental issue that needs to be tackled at the highest level.
I am sure if sand was privately owned (like non-government beaches) the market would fix the price a lot higher.
