Bloomberg analyst Jamie Coutts reports that the percentage of Bitcoin mining energy from renewable sources has exceeded 50% with “decreasing emissions plus dramatically increasing hash rates.”

Previously, in 2021, Elon Musk said that Tesla would resume accepting Bitcoin payments once miners used about 50% of clean energy sources "with positive future trends."
