Watershed in the Brazilian Amazon region.
Hello friends of steemit, today was a different day in my city, I live in Belém, capital of the State of Pará in Brazil
A region of tropical climate, also known as the Metropolis of the Brazilian Amazon region or the Cidade das Mangueiras (City of Mango Trees). My city does not suffer from natural adversities normally. But today we are visited by a water whorl near the city on the river.
Yes, our city is the river bank, the Amazon River.
And this is incredible. We have very interesting ports and fishing routines. Even this waterspout appeared near an open market known worldwide, the "Ver-o-peso (See-the-weight)".
The visit of waterspouts seems to be common in my region because of the little I researched, but usually in beach regions.
I'm 24 years old and I've always lived here, but I have not seen anything like it.
Do you think this has anything to do with global climate change?
Has something like this happened in your area lately? An inexperienced climate change?
Impressionante, valeu! Vi umas fotos e presenciei de longe uma tromba d'água (espécie de tempestade que chove para os lados) aqui em São Paulo/SP que é parecido. Sucesso e boa sorte mais uma vez!!
Obrigado! Sucesso a você também!
Bem-vindo, @defremont! É bom ver a comunidade crescendo, vamos nessa ;)
Obrigado pelas boas vindas! :)
