Game Spotlight: Brawlhalla

Game spotlight:

Game spotlight is a series of short blogs I will post regularly on my page, the idea is to cover all types of small and indie games across all platforms that I think are great fun to play and are not to expensive. I personally love playing games made by small studios and independent creators because they tend to be more unique, so you are often in for a lot of surprises.

Brawlhalla:

Brawlhalla is a 2D platform fighting game, the main mode is played with four players all battling against each other to knock one another of the platform, for each time you get knocked off you lose a point and for each player you knock of you gain a point.

Each player also has two different weapons, each weapon also has two attacks; one basic attack and a special attack that can be charged to knock enemies further back.

At the moment there is 28 different characters, when you first start you can play as six different characters:

Scarlet

Lucian

Brynn

Koji

Ragnir

The characters have four types of base stats; Strength, Dexterity, Armor and speed each of these stats go up to 10 and every character will have 22 overall points. This gives a lot of opportunity for so many different play styles, this is also creates a lot off different match ups and counter play.

Brawlhalla isn't a game that I would spend hours playing at a time but it is always fun to play a few games every now and then, because it is simple to play you don't need to be worried about being rusty.

You can also play with your friends which always makes a game more fun to play, and if you want to make it a bit more competitive there is a 1v1 mode so you can really see who is the best.
