RE: BraveNewCoin: Code Valley starts the industrial revolution of coding today, with the help of bitcoin

This is a very interesting concept. It will take a while to polish all of the components, but hypothetically this could really grease the wheels of building custom software.

I hope they grant me beta access so I can play around with making my own Vendor!

@robrigo Check your email in the next few minutes ;).

I don't think so, because of that word you just used:

custom

Will something like this eventually happen? Yeah, probably. Has it already? Kind of, with the advent of libraries oh, I don't know maybe 30 (is it more, old timers, I don't know?) years ago.... This is going to suffer from the same problems that everything like it does: They won't have libs to interact with data X Y or Z, people write the libs but they don't work in environment X, Y, or Z.

This whole company is bait for those who do not know how to code themselves and want code made for them. But there are already a million companies like that. Those who don't know how to code and want code made for them should either:

  1. Find a developer that they trust and have a relationship with and then pay through the nose for SW dev, because well, that's what it takes to get software built.
  2. Learn to code, even the rudiments!
  3. Get ripped off

@faddat I can assure you, emergent coding is the real deal.

We received your request for an invite and while your application left a little to be desired (yes, we do exist!), we're willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. (You are posting on a Bitcoin-friendly blog, after all!) We hope you will do the same for us. Happy building!

oh, and @robrigo -- I'm looking into making a vendor, too. lol.
