To continue on the brainstorm series and launch one first idea, i will start very small and humble. (a 2-4 weeks project maybe … top)
Let’s talks about a simple mobile app. Sometime theres just no need to search for useful ideas very far.
The problem :
It migth have happened to you, many persons looses their mobile phone everyday.
Classical.
Let’s think about a nice way for those who might find it to help recover it without any fuss.
Theres already apps that will permit you to track(-ish) your phone using geo-location.
But let’s say you are like most persons , and a you dont have it (or do not know how to use it , or it is too imprecise , pick one)
The mobile is lost, and someone finds it (found one at a restaurent just today which inspired this little idea). This person is maybe well-intentioned or not, but let’s say that this person is ( Yes ! There is in my view still a majority of decent peoples out there) for this little problem.
If the person is not , he/she takes out the sim card and try to sell the phone or use it for his/her own benefit.
But even if he/she wants to be decent and let’s say contact you or at least help get it back to its rigthful owner.
Most of the moble are today protected by a password. (And it is a good thing!!) you can make emergency call but unless you have some apps that add to this locked screen , that about it.
The idea
Let’s say that this person would only have to click a button (ex: You found this mobile ? Please click here to let the owner know) with option to put in your phone number, email or sms( or any other contact method we devise)
Already there we are not far.
One hassle about this is that the “protected’ mobile owner would have had previously to enter/choose some alternatives contact method. Theres already site that offer similar recuperation emthod for passwords, account information ect..
Why not for phone lost?
Really quite simple and not very revolutionary.
Elements to think about:
Much more alternatives contact methods
Simple Ux for setting contacts methods and adoption
This concept could probably be apllied to others important belongings ,using alternative methods of putting the ‘finder’ with the ‘owner’ (micro QR code maybe ??)
Thinking about a way to protect the exposed contact method for it not to be used to get information about the ‘owner’ or any other abuses ( a centralized server acting as middle-man ? A decentralized encrypted contact methods data in a hast table ? form of direct contact ? )
Theres nothing that prohibit from designing a way where the ‘finder’ can use ‘found’ mobile line and/or sms only on alternative contact end-point ….
Any other relevent thing i miss here
Well this is it to start the inception process of this little app. It solve a very common problem. No big market there its mostly for fun and making something practical.
I hope this can inspires you all to participate in the ideation.

I repeat here. I am not about to actually develop theses ideas. All Idea here are GLP 3.0 and anyone participating to the process in comments section waives any form of moral and intellectual rigths to theses ideas.
How to participate ?
This brainstorm series i try to create aim at making people contribute in ideate, test and critisise constructivly concrete little projects. The final goal is to develop a lot of nice crowdsourced roadmaps that any willing interested readers could use and put into the world .
So how to participate ? Well for now i see a simple process. I am very open to suggestion and even to open a trend for deciding on others processes.
First an initiator launch an idea in the brainstorm tags section on steemit. (for grouping it all together) . Then any one reads them and can hop in to where the comment section by adding idea, plan, relevent information and/or links, market analysis, road map for little bock of it. Link to git in the case of software ect..
