Bitcoin rollout across EU
An ambitious plan to roll out BTC use across the whole Eu looks set to go ahead.
Simple payment at a merchants terminal is the goal.
The 'conversion' or source account funds can be one of several cryptos, with the conversion being done at point of sale.
A great idea, but at this point dependent on Visa etc as the intermediary.
The roll out should see a big increase in BTC use, and in time hopefully the need for Visa etc will diminished & just be replaced with a phone app that does the conversion & use NFI to make the payment to the merchants terminal.
Time will tell
