The brain is the most important organ of the human body that is the center of the nervous system. It can also be said that the brain is the head of all organs. Brain organs that control all the organs in the human body. The volume of the brain ranges from 1350 cc and has 100 million nerve cells or neurons to support its function. The brain is located inside the head, and has several functions As a central regulation of some of the actions experienced and as a central regulator of the organs of the body (eg regulating the work of the heart, liver, etc.). The brain is the body's controller. If a person has a healthy brain, it will promote good health. Conversely, if a person's brain is in an unhealthy condition, then it is the cause of all the problems in the body. Based on the results of research the brain has the parts with their respective functions. Basically the human brain consists of five parts of the Big Brain, midbrain, back brain, cerebellum and advanced summits. Each part has a specific task that affects the body work.

1. Big Brain (Cerebrum)

This section is the largest part of the brain with a crucial function as well. Big brain or commonly known as the cerebrum is in general can be regarded as the main nerve center because of its very important functions, such as those related to intelligence, memory, awareness and consideration. The big part of the brain consists of two parts of the left and right brain. Each part has a reverse function where the left side regulates the right body function, otherwise the right brain regulates the left body function. Each hemisphere of the brain is divided into four lobes, namely frontal, pariental, ocital, and temporal.

2. Small Brain (Cerebellum)

The small brain serves as a center of balance and motor ability. If this part is interrupted, it will cause muscle movement is no longer coordinated. In addition, interference in this section can also cause vertigo due to lack of oxygen that enters the brain. This section lies below the occipital lobe, and lies at the top of the brainstem.

3. ForeBrain (Diencephalon)

This section is divided into 3 parts namely right thalamus, left Thalamus, and hypothalamus. Frontal Brain/Diensephlon processes sensory stimuli and helps initiate or modify the body's reaction to these stimuli. Some examples of activities involving diensefalon include chewing, seeing, eye movements, facial expressions (eg, smiling, pouting, etc.), hearing, breathing, swallowing, smelling, and balance the body.

4. Middle Brain (Mesencephalon)

This section consists of: Tektum, which has a nerve regulator of the auditory process and the process of vision. The other part is Cerebral Peduncle, which is involved in the homeostasis system and the reflex path.

5. Hindbrain

The backbone consists of a varol bridge, advanced marrow and a cerebellum that form a brainstem or brain stem. The varol bridge is the nerve that connects the left and right lobes of the cerebellum and connects the cerebellum and the cerebrum. The advanced marrow of the cerebellum has significant function, which controls the respiratory tract, regulates the heart rate, the physiology reflex center, the air pressure, body temperature and so on.

6. Brain Steem

The first is its role in conduction. All information submitted from the body to the brain and the cerebellum must cross the brainstem. The pathway of information coming from the body to the brain is the sensory pathway, and includes the spinotalamic tract for pain and temperature sensation and dorsal columns, fasciculus gracilis, and cuneatus for touch, proprioception, and pressure sensations (both bodies). Facial sensation has a simiar track and will also travel in the spinothalamic tract and medial lemniscus as well. The upper motor neural channel down is destined for synapses in lower motor neurons in ventral horns and middle horns of the spinal cord. In addition, there are upper motor nerves coming from the vestibular, red, tectal, and reticular nuclei, which also descend and synapse in the spinal cord. The brain stem also raises 3-12 cranial nerves. The brain stem has integrative functions, including control of the cardiovascular system, respiratory control, pain control, alertness, awareness, and knowledge. Any damage to the brain stem usually has serious and often life threatening consequences. Medula oblongata is one part of the brain stem that is under the pons. Medulla oblongata itself plays a role in controlling autonomic functions (unconscious functions) such as breathing, digestion, heart rate, blood vessel function, and swallowing and sneezing.

7. Right Brain and Left brain

According to research results Roger Sperry (1960). In addition to the big brain is divided into the right brain and left brain. Both of which each have different functions. The left brain functions in matters relating to logic, ratio, the ability to write and read, and is the center of mathematics. Some experts mention that Kiiri brain is the center of Intelligence Quotient (IQ). The right brain works in the development of Emotional Quotient (EQ). For example socialization, communication, interaction with other humans and emotional control. In the right brain is also located the ability intuitive, the ability to feel, combine, and body expression, such as singing, dancing, painting and all kinds of other creative activities. The above parts of the brain are connected and connected. If one part is interrupted then the other part also participated in the interference. Therefore keep our brains well by eating a healthy diet, regular lifestyle and diligent exercise.
