Have you met anyone who scans for bad things around them? They have lots to complain, like not having a good job, not having enough money, people around them are happier. Their RAS is tuned to pick up only sad events around them and none of the good things. In a similar fashion, people need to think about good things around them in order to program themselves.
Try this: think of "What is new and good today?" May be you get a seat in a bus, or see a new menu in your favourite restaurant, or see a beautiful poster in the street. Keep thinking about all these. When you have done so for 21 days, you will have formed a habit, and then we will move on to the next stage of unconscious mind programming.
