Errol "The Truth" Spence Jr. is in my opinion the best welterweight champion currently. To be the best, you have got to beat the best, but when the best don't want to fight you because you are perceived to be the best because you prove your skills over time and time again, then you can only beat the best of those who are willing to step up and risk their boxing career to face you while you are on a blazing rampage. Errol Spence Jr. has been noted for knocking out some good opponents and even an elite champion by the name of Kell Brook whom he KO'ed and usurped his IBF title while being an outsider at Kell Brook's home city. Errol Spence Jr. handled the pressure well, flying over to the UK as the challenger and proved himself with flying colors. He has also been noted for giving Floyd Mayweather Jr. a black eye in sparring, having Adrien Broner wobbling in sparring as well, and knocking out many opponents that other elite fighters weren't able to knock out, such as Manny Pacquiao failing to knock out Chris Algieri but Spence did beautifully, Triple GGG who couldn't knock out Kell Brook in a higher weight division and he is a KO artist, yet Spence didn't force a stoppage from the corner like GGG did, he obliterated Kell Brook in KO fashion, or Leonard Bundu who Keith Thurman, 2 time world champion and current double champion belt holder, was able to drop once, but ended up going the distance with, as opposed to Errol Spence Jr. fiercely outmatching Bundu and knocking him out within 6 rounds. The truth about Spence is indeed real and I look forward to seeing him fight more high caliber opponents for him to further showcase his dominance. Keep an eye out for this young, well-mannered dangerous champion on the rise to the top. He will unify all belts sooner or later in my opinion.
