Tyson Fury Looking Slim Ahead Of Next Bout

in #boxing6 years ago

Former World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury (26-0, 19 KOs) looks increasingly in shape, at the face of what will be his encounter against his next opponent Francesco Pianeta (35-4-1, 21 KOs) This Saturday from Windsor Park in Belfast.

The work that Fury has been doing at the gym so far is really impressive, and it shows at first glance that he will be with much less weight than in his last fight, where he hit 276 pounds. It's very important to point out as well, that Fury had not fought for two and a half years and just returned on June the 9th of this year, due to problems of depression and addiction to cocaine.

Also remember that The Gypsy King comes from being in very bad shape during the time he was out of the squares. Even weighing about 370 pounds, which at first would represent a real challenge for someone with aspirations to new glories.

If Tyson wins his match against Pianeta - which is very likely due to the great class the former champion has - he will surely face the Outspoken One-Punch heavyweight champion of the World Boxing Council (WBC), the 'Bronze Bomber' Deontay. Wilder 40-0 (39 KOs) in what might be the best possible event to close the one that has been to date, a great year for Boxing.

In my opinion Fury is taking a very big risk, due to the little activity he has had inside the ring, and how difficult it can be losing a lot of weight in such a short time. What you do not have to doubt is the greatness, and audacity of Gypsy King who wants to return to the top of the Olympus of boxing.
