Heavyweight fringe contender Manuel Charr defeats Alexander Ustinov by a unanimous decision to become the new WBA Regular heavyweight champion. It was a fight that contained little quality from both fighters but a lot of effort and messy exchanges. Manuel Charr's cleaner work throughout the 12 rounds was enough to secure a points victory.

Manuel Charr will be scheduled to fight 44 year old Fres Oquendo in his first title defense due to crazy boxing politics in the WBA.
