I think that this outcome wasn't so unexpected despite Eubank being betting favourite because Groves showed real improvement and toughness in his recent fights (especially against Chudinov) and after his 2 knockout losses against Froch he got a truly important experience and became a better boxer. Eubank Jnr in my opinion was overhyped as he is the heir of Eubank's name well known to all boxing fans and his boxing career was built over tactical chosen opponents who weren' t big name, all apart from B.J.Saunders who outboxed Chris.
