BlocVehicle Goal and Services
What is the goal of BlocVehicle?
-BlocVehicle enables users to store and retain data of their own cars, motorcycles, campers and yachts on a blockchain-based public ledger and will have, similar to what Facebook does, information on users’ cars to be shared with other users. As part of its plan, an “Airbnb for cars“ service platform will be provided allowing anyone to lease a car to residents of the same region, or travellers visiting the region, and generate profit through a P2P based transaction.
Combining blockchain technology with the rental market and the used-car industry, BlocVehicle is expected to bring great changes to the ecosystem of the available services. By connecting existing businesses to the BlocVehicle Network, technical support will be provided to ensure the innovation of their business models for compatibility with blockchain.
BlocVehicle will create the world's best service platform for the used car market, offering a transparent and fair P2P trade system based on a car’s maintenance data.
What is BlocVehicle?
-It is based on reliable vehicle history data so that people can directly conduct transactions of their car based on P2P network, and create an ecology of transparency and equality. By sharing vehicle history data, anyone can rent a car easily at reasonable rates, which can become a foundation of an economy business model, based on vehicle sharing.
Production and Possession of Vehicle Data
-By seeing photos and video clips of other people's lives, Facebook users get to empathize with them and build trust and friendships. Users can store, possess, and share their photos and video clips showing how their cars have been managed, which will ultimately be shared through blockchain with others.
What is Vehicle Data?
-Such data are not limited to vehicles-motorcycles, campers, sailboats and other commodities will be up for public evaluation as well, in the near future. Vehicle data includes photographic and video data of a vehicle’s life and information on maintenance, like oil change or air filter replacements.
** Problems in Used Car Market**
-To prevent fraudulent deals, loss leaders and false offerings, verification of dealers by authenticating their real names, certificates, credit cards, mobile phone numbers and employee cards are in place, yet this has failed to eradicate public distrust in the used car market. Thus, sellers cannot obtain data on maintenance such as oil change and replacement of vehicle parts, whereas the dealers will try to conceal information on used cars by taking advantage of their control over information provision.
Vehicle Dealer Service*
-When the transaction is complete, the seller has to transfer the vehicle data to the buyer via the Vehicle Dealer Service.
Potential sellers of their cars may write a Smart Contract with the required conditions included and can upload his sale information to the BlocVehicle Network. The rate of fee for using Vehicle Dealer Service has not been determined yet and is planning to be set after a series of simulations. Buyers will be able to look for second-hand vehicles that they find suitable, with the contents of the Smart Contract and vehicle data put into consideration.
-Vehicle Dealer Service will enable transparent procedures in individual levels of P2P used-car transactions.
Vehicle Dealer Service will be utilized through the BlocVehicle App and BlocVehicle website.
The Smart Contract will include; the model of the vehicle, mileage, price, and other details of the sale.
28 The fee will be collected and used to pay for the Gas Cost in creating blocks in the Ethereum Network, and will also provide maintenance for the BlocVehicle Network. This will require a small fee from the buyer to the BlocVehicle Network for the use of information.
Vehicle Sharing Service
-Vehicle Sharing Service will be able to validate the identities of a car’s owner and a rental user. The user will have the opportunity to compare the uploaded car data to what condition the car actually is kept on an offline meeting, and can request for usage to the owner via Vehicle Share Service. Then, users will notify the owner of the rental request through the Vehicle Sharing Service, via a popup/notification. Users who wish to lease out their vehicle may write a Smart Contract with the required lease conditions included and can upload his lease to the BlocVehicle Network.
The Smart Contract will include; the model of the vehicle, available regions, available dates, rental fee, and the details of the rental car insurance’s coverage. Users will be able to look for vehicles that they find suitable, with the contents of the Smart Contract and vehicle data put into consideration. The rate of the commission for using Vehicle Share Service has not been determined yet and is planning to be set after a series of simulations.
