Each SBI unit is backed by ~2 SP in dedicated voting power. The exact amount varies, dependent on our sustainability metrics. That dedicated VP contributes to a growing 'pending vote balance' and upvotes are delivered whenever the pending vote balance is high enough. There is no expiration.
