Show us your boulders
A boulder is a rock that is too huge to lift
and take home by yourself without aid.
Dictionary says a detached & rounded
or worn rock, especially a large one.
Must use your own photographs
and some words describing where the

Beautiful calm water. I love the reflections of the clouds on the water! You mention Captain Cook Park... Is this named after the explorer? We have a statue of Captain Cook who came here in 1778. The sign on the statue mentions that along with him were William Bligh - later Captain Bligh from Mutiny on the Bounty. Also along for the ride was Midshipmen George Vancouver who now has his name on things all up and down this coast.
Thank you very much, that was sure a nice day out there.
That's the man! Went around naming places
that already had names! ;-)
I really love your Mountain boulder post, that is really
awesome both together like that! Thank you 🗻 @keithboone!
I sure appreciate your participation!
As the rocks, boulders and mountains grow on steemit! 💎
Really... And I have a photo of Captain Blighs tombstone that I happened upon while I was in London. We should do some sort of collaboration post about these guys! @keithboone @shasta
There is a story about a mt whos a giant
and a guy named Kaliforniski lol
I'm not sure there is a statue here of these
renamers lol, probably something in Anchorage.
The statue in Homer might do, memorial for
seafarers.
The black and white one is my favorite. Beautiful shot!
Thank you very much ❤ @nat-expressions!
They almost look like they are in a boulder race lol
What a serene picture, it looks so peaceful, came and inviting.
Nice to meet you and thank you ❤ @sunscape! :-)
It sure was that day, usually it isn't that calm.
very cool, never seen a beach like that!
Thank you @janton!
Now you have :-))
You would never suspect all those boulders we're just under the surface if you just looked at the top photo! Great photos.
Amazing eh, those were different days not far
apart, one low tide one high, was amazed to
see it so low that one day. It was also one of
them unplanned ones haha, didn't think would
make it to the other end of the road. It ends up
there at the park. Tho there is a further trail
for off road types to go up to Grey Cliffs, a few
folks have some cabins up that way.
Captain Cook..I’ve heard of him before. Lovely shots Shasta. I’m late putting in my boulders but here they are:
