Some boulders by Lily lake Alaska.
Yellow water lilies about fill the lake.
Small parking area might hold
three cars. A cut in the bank
to launch your kayak.
Boulders mark the spot and help
keep your vehicle from rolling
off into the lake!
These boulders keep the
wild areas happy.

Rare cause most days are grey, like today
and yesterday, most of this week and most
of the time. Short green season with few
blue sky days. ❤ :-)

A perfect kayak launching spot! Mine is hanging in the rafters with a thick layer of dust on it. It would love to out on that beautiful lake!

folks go over to the state park area at the other end
of the lake to launch. We've had this more private
side spot to ourselves a couple of times now.
Imagine all the boulders that have been fought over
on this planet over time. Looking forward to a future
where they are only shot with a camera! :-)
