I imagine we'd just start with a five-foot-high privacy hedge, nothing too serious. Don't want to be rude... Shouldn't be more than about 5,500 miles long ;)

haha! that's hilarious sir Keith! Do the Canadians worry about rufians coming over from our side into your beautiful country?

Oh absolutely, bringing drugs, and handguns and crime. That's probably the case wherever there is a border if you think about it. I guess if you're into a certain kind of business there are often occasions when you need to "get out of Dodge", and borders are good for that if you make it! Law enforcement agencies on both sides of the border cooperate very closely. There are even cases where agents can cross the border, weapons drawn, in pursuit - although that hasn't happened too often.

well sir Keith do you ever hear about anything happening on our border? Because I never hear a word about catching drug smugglers or something like that, the things we hear about on our Southern border so it makes me curious if anything is going on there, you'd think we'd hear about the bigger busts anyway.

It's quiet compared to the US/Mexico border but illegal goods cross the border both ways and yes, there are large busts from time to time. Someone importing guns may be paying with drugs or drug money. Stuff flows both ways and there are major points of entry from what I read. Major metropolitan centers have corridors of trade between them. Montreal/NYC, Toronto/Detroit, Vancouver/Seattle. It's not just car parts crossing the border.

Yes sir that makes total sense, I was just wondering why I never hear about any problems or action on our North border. But then we are kinda far away and our South border is all the talk, with good reason.
