I get all my wood off from my land. I'm thinking I might go to woodcamp and get some there if I can't round up a little more wood here that is going to be suitable to burn this Winter. I was looking at a pretty good size Beech tree yesterday not to far in the woods. I just might harvest that and split it up into much smaller pieces.
And I still might still check into woodcamp. It's fun to help other folks....😊!
That's true, helping would be great. I assume that you are highly skilled with a chainsaw?

My Grandfather taught my brother and myself how to use a chainsaw when were growing up. The old farmhouse had only wood as a heat source.
I truly couldn't live where I do if I couldn't run one. Sometimes I have use my saw to cut a tree or very large branch if it falls on my road from gutsy wind, ice and snow. And sometimes a beaver will take one down. Chainsaw a very valuable tool..🤗..!!
Howdy again annephilbrick! I agree, chainsaws are amazing. I use one on our property all the time to clear trees. Well, not all the time, in the winter I do the land clearing work when it's not hot.

It's definitely not fun to cut up wood when it's hot out.
What kind of chainsaw do you have. I have a STIHL . My brother is trying to talk me into getting a Husqvarna. Chainsaws aren't cheap and mine works just fine...!!!

Mine is a Stihl also, I would keep using it until it gave out!
