📷 Rage against Bots 😂

Hier noch eine Folie von meinem dApp-Vortrag, die besonders lustig war, wo ich auf die Bot-Problematik bei den dApps eingegangen bin.

Im Prinzip hat jede dApp ihre eigene Armee an Bots. So wurden zum Beispiel auf Steem Monsters vor ein paar Wochen die Rewards drastisch reduziert, weil so viele Bots auf der Plattform spielen und die Reward-Monster-Karten automatisiert abstauben.

Meistens sind die Bots die besseren Spieler und bekommen daher auch mehr Rewards als wir Humans :P

Ich denke, so frustrierend das auch ist, das ist eine Situation, an die wir uns langsam gewöhnen müssen, und die sich mit der Entwicklung von immer besserer KI noch verschärfen wird.

Here is a slide from my dApp talk, which was especially funny, where I talked about the bot war going on on many dApps.

In principle each dApp has its own army of bots. For example, on Steem Monsters a few weeks ago the rewards were drastically reduced because so many bots play on the platform and try to farm the Reward monster cards automatically.

Most of the time the bots are the better players and therefore get more rewards than we humans :P

I think as frustrating as this is, it's a situation that we have to get used to and it's going to get worse with the development of better and better AIs.
