10 Commandments of Using Bid Bots On Steemit
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success and positive ROI.
1. Thou shall not bid blindly
Thou shall not bid without understanding http://steembottracker.com, the website which thy brethren @yabapmatt hath created to track the bots.
2. Thou shall sleep when the whole world is bidding and only bid when the whole world is sleeping
Thou increaseth thy chances of making hefty ROI if thou shall hearken to this very commandment.
3. Thou shall always make the bid bots upvote thy post before the 30 minutes window
If thou hearken not to this commandment, thou shall lose your share of the bot's curation reward.
4. Thou shall not bid when the price of SBD is looking bearish, for thy upvotes shall melt like ice and misery may come upon thee at payout.
5. Thou shall not bid above the voting might of the bot.
If thou hearken not to this commandment, thy bid shall be moved to the next round.
6. Thou shall not send below the minimum bid which the bot hath stated.
If thou actest otherwise, thy bid shall be considered a donation.
7. Thou shall observe to frequently refresh the SBTracker site before sending thy bid, so that thy clever brethren does not jump the queue ahead of thee.
9. Thou shall not promote unfit posts with thy bid, lest a whale gets angry and flag thee to powder.
10. Anyone who breaches the lest of these commandments shall be guilty of all.

what do you think will pay off more over time? spending the time to comment like a normal social media site and make peoples day feel better or curate something good and bid for a bot then go on your merry way? i think getting a good active steemit user following would be way more beneficial. im not saying i dont use bots, of course i do on some of my longer better posts but i think people need to put more effort into steemit
You've made some valuable points here. Well, honestly I think making some friends by commenting, good writing, and bots are all essentials. None should, ought to, be ignored. Good to see your comments.
An excellent post that a million or so Steemians would be well-advised to read.
And then, those million Steemians should go to SteemBotTracker and learn how to bid for upvotes. It takes a bit of time, it requires a bit of "learning from mistakes," and it even takes a bit of STEEM.
But it's well worth it.

I use that steembot tracker and will recommend it. I got ripped off by someone who is not on that tracker, and will no longer use anyone who doesn't have a proven track record.

Check between 11am and 12pm India time. The whole world sleeping does not mean midnight. Just an off peak period. Good luck.
