Why is Steemit
SO SLOW LATELY?

'bots are a gazillion times faster than a person.
using a correspondingly greater amount of bandwidth
They're hogging it, making humans wait in line.
Bots are sucking the life from steem.
There's a lot of work going on in Steem blockchain so we will experience these short comings for a while or so.
Perhaps...just perhaps...they could give us an update?
Is that too much to ask?
I just spent about an hour doing what used to take me five minutes.
I had to repost several times..THEN correct errors that were caused by the reposting.
yeah, that's kinda of concern which i have already conveyed to the team. Steemit team is active on Twitter and steem chat but the problem is that they don't share much updates. Though, if you join discord channels such as PAL, Whaleshares, Adsactly etc. you would find much info about updates.
It would seem that Steemit would be THE place to find out about STEEMIT!
Yes, but if Steemit is down then that won't be possible or in fact useless to post here.
Also, always copy before posting. It happened to me before and I had to write for another hour or so. In fact, I had a hard time with Transfers just today.

I cant believe the amateurish-ness, tbh.
they are behaving like a new site from the early 2000's.
This will be massive downer to grow the site - every day matters.
Unless the big players are gaming it, making it lower the price,- pick up cheap stock if they know something we don't - not too difficult (like how the value is gonna rocket...?)
maybe steemit should buy another server?

I have a wargaming project to be working on, which has been neglected- so might spend a day or two on that...

I've been bounce between Firefox and Chromium to try to alleviate the issue. I have moderately more success on Chromium.
The last couple of days, it's getting a little bit better. But yeah, the platform is still uncomfortably slow.
The Steemit developers need to take action, otherwise people might leave the platform.

It is not just the slowness that I find deeply frustrating - it is the loading...., transaction error... that is taking away the fun of the game...
I had no problems today on Steemit... and that is a rare occurrence!
I've been posting on Busy.org because they don't lose your content. But comments and upvotes on here still take forever.

I don't know why the service is so slow, but I've been trying to reward people for good content. Since the upvote is being taken over by driods, I've been tipping people. I find it to be more important than just upvoting, which gives very little of anything, other than rep points.
