BookWorm Initiative: Introducing the Daily Grind Challenge

The Daily Grind Challenge was initially created to reward contributors for sharing their daily reads. There are no specific categories for this one, as long as you have a reading material, you can join the challenge. This means that you can use any resources may it be news articles, blogs, poems, short stories, etc.

Moving forward, we will also introduce a Daily Streaks. We are still looking into the feasibility of doing this as we are still not definite if what token we will be using in the long run, we'll see.

You can also use a Book for this challenge. But take note, that we also have the GoodReads Challenge. If you are making a book review to simply introduce the read, then I highly recommend to submit via the GoodReads challenge. As you progress with the book, you can share it with us via the Daily Grind. Also note, that we have a separate guideline for the GoodReads Challenge, and for the Daily Grid the guidelines are as follows:

Our vision: "Igniting the Learner In You Through Reading"

Guidelines:

We need contributors to submit their reviews via post. I'm very much inclined to make this very very formal. But I guess this is not a writing class, so I guess for the benefit of everyone (the readers and contributors) we'll just make it easier.

I. Introduction
A brief introduction about the book and the author. Some background on what prompted to you to read the material.
II. Reading Progression
We will be using this framework or model to keep track of our reading progression.

A. Objectives and Accomplishments
First, list down the objective and the accomplishments that you were able to deliver (ex. 15 pages). The idea here is to give some kind of assessment of how much work has been done at this stage.

B. Immediate Plans or Long-Term Goals

C. Problems
List down the problems that you encountered. What are the challenges that you meet along the way and what are the things you do to ensure that you meet your objectives.

D. Take-aways and Lessons Learned
This is the meat of this challenge. Share with us what are the takeaways and lessons that you got from the reading material. Give as much details as you want, but keep it simple. Take note, that the goal here is to encourage people to read the material that you are reading. Make it interesting, as much as possible.

Note:
For those who are using materials that are very short, you can just summarize A, B, and C into one. So you will only need two Sections: (A) Objectives and the Challenges; and (B) Take-aways and Lessons Learned.
If the material is a book, all the 4 sections are required.

Additional Guidelines:

Invite at least 3 people to join the challenge.
If all 3 invitee will join, I will personally reward 100% on the post.
There could be more additional rewards later on, we'll see.

Paste post link at our Discord Channel #daily-grind
The whole post should be at least 400 words.
Make sure to introduce the challenge on your entry and add this post as reference.

Book Ambassadors

We will also have a separate rewards for our book ambassadors. We will be selecting winners here as needed. To be able to participate, just leave a comment or a short review on any of the contributions via the Daily Grind Challenge. It's as simple as that.

Our goal here is to encourage the entire community to read the book and see the value that these books bring in order to provide us with the recreation and the invaluable rewards they bring. This is taking into consideration, our Bookworm Initiative's vision of "Igniting the Learner In You Through Reading".

For this initiative we have the following budget for every winning category:

250 BHIVE Tokens - Curation Winners (at most 4 per week)
50 BHIVE Tokens - Book Ambassadors (as need, done weekly)

For successful 3 (unique) invites who have participated in the Book Request challenge.
This is a separate reward system, so I will give the rewards in forms of other whaletokens or/and upshare rewards. Payments will be done weekly. And will be divided to the total number of winners. May be subject to changes without prior notice.
