RE: Between SocJus and PulpRev at the Dragon Awards
I've enjoyed Scalzi in the past. I mean, he writes pretty straightforward sci-fi entertainment, albeit scaled to a younger audience. I wasn't really aware that there was a political angle to his books.
That is pretty funny about the parody outselling him, though.
If people want to make a meaningful vote, shouldn't they just read the books on offer and select the one they enjoyed the best?
Alas, reading and voting for the best is simply too rational for a certain kind of humans. That's how we got the drama over the Hugo Awards and, now, the Dragon Awards.
Who has time to read all those books when there's drama to be stirred up, right?
