What about the other decades?
This is very interesting. In Germany we have thats lists too. in 1991 - my birthyear - Nr. 1 was Rosamunde Pilcher with "the shell seekers". Normally Pilcher is known for her cheesy love stories but this one is said to be very good. I should give it a try.
