Jerusalem, Alan Moore. Signed First Edition.

Alan Moore, born in 1953, is a British writer primarily known for his graphic novels, and is often referred to as the greatest graphic novel writer in history. I'm sure you've heard of some of his works – V for Vendetta, Watchmen, From Hell, etc. His work has helped to bring greater respectability to the comic book art form, and he has gained recognition from both his peers and critics alike. He's also an occultist, ceremonial magician and anarchist, and has done numerous avant-garde spoken word albums.

Jerusalem is his second novel, published in 2016. It took him over a decade to write and, at 1,266 pages, is one of the longest novels to be written in the English language. The story is a long one, developing over centuries, and combines elements of historical and supernatural fiction. It draws on a variety of writings styles and is, according to Moore, a work of "genetic mythology." I actually haven't read the novel yet, but it's garnered quite a bit of praise. This is the first UK edition, signed by Moore on the half-title page:
