“Let him in,” she sighed.
Maria looked up and she could hardly believe her eyes. It was someone from her nightmares.

She could never forget the awful day he’d called her to his office and raped her.
Sent away by her parents after her pregnancy was discovered, she had to stay with an aunt...
“Have a seat, sir,” she beckoned to him.
A small world really, Maria thought, is this payback time?

I think you have a potential of writing good fictions or non-fiction as the case maybe. I see a creative writer here.
I want you to tap into your potential to write a full blown post. If you can ensure you finish it in one post no matter how long except in cases where it is inevitable.
That said, the suspense is pretty much okay for a short piece.
