BOOKLOVERS! I am shouting out to you specifically because there is this amazing site which may satisfy a bit of your innate need for stories, adventures, mystery, and marvel.
Bookbub.com is a free website that sends you daily emails listing free and discounted e-books from providers such as Amazon, Google, Barnes & Nobel, Apple, and Kobo. It is simple. You sign up, pick your favorite genres and categories, and wait for the daily alerts to hit your inbox.
This is too good to be true. Right? Wrong. I have been using this website for about 4 months now, and I have been introduced to a variety of great books.
Is it like illegally downloading books? Not at all! The website simply scans for daily discounted books based on your selected preferences, and you are then alerted to the results. Authors and publishers will often offer up a discounted price for a limited time before it goes back to the original price. So, why not take advantage of those great deals?
Below is a sample from my daily selection this morning. Keep in mind that different genres create different selections! Not all books are appealing, but it is a great way to get books at a discounted price, explore new authors and genres, while also not hurting your pocketbook.
