At the age of five John marks Templeton learned from his mother that one of the greatest blessings given to humanity is the gift of reading. Much of the world's wisdom resides in written word.

From spiritual books, from philosophers and poet, and from other writers, we begin to form a clear understanding of the spiritual and ethical laws of life. The World's literature teaches us valuable lessons that no amount of money can buy. Those lessons are there for everyone. They are free and they are priceless.

A home without spiritual books, a dictionary, an encyclopedia, and self-help books is like a house without windows for the light to enter. Reading maketh a full man so read good books.
