Habit 4 - Win Win or No Deal

Deals should always be win-win. If a deal is Win-Lose, or Lose-Win, one person appears to get what he wants for the moment, but the results will negatively impact the relationship between those two people going forward. Think of a dirty used car salesman, they don't get much repeat business.

Most businesses thrive on repeat business so they must make win-win deals with their clients. Another great example is an employer hiring someone for a job. If the employee felt like he was accepting a salary below what he was worth he will end up resenting his employer and his job in the long run.

The next time you make a deal - make sure it's a Win/Win for both parties. It's in your best interest.
