Wonderful advice for book maintenance! Most people don't think of Books as needing to be maintained and it's really a shame to see some in such poor shape, especially when they are rare. One of the most cringeworthy moments of my working at a library was seeing a student hold an old book and flipping through it like a new paperback. It's really amazing how Taking care with how they are handled and stored helps keep their quality intact. I'll be resteeming!
