A little bit about the book

This book is another fantastic self-improvement book which can be recommended to anyone, especially to leaders or for people who come into contact with adversity regularly. One of the greatest traits a man or woman can learn is the ability to turn adversity into advantage, to make the best out of situations and inevitably be Stoic in all of their actions and reactions. Ryan Holiday gives us the blueprint to attain such a beautiful trait in this very book. What is amazing is how easy to read, how interesting and how applicable to everyday life it is. He uses examples of leaders from all backgrounds whether that be in sport, acting, politics, business, criminals, engineers and inventors which really drills home that the language he is speaking really does apply to you, regardless of what you think.

I really love the book and re-read it regularly because it is such an easy read. It is good to go over the main points in the book every now and then whenever I'm feeling under stress or pressure to achieve something, the pressure will always subside and time will pass whether you like it or not, accepting it is what's important and making the most out of the outcome is what's crucial!

If you are in a place where you are sick of what you are doing in life, if you are constantly feeling sorry for yourself but have no motivation to do something about it, if you have just gone through a tough breakup or somebody has passed away in your life, if you have gone bankrupt or find yourself in colossus debt, this book is sure to help you.

Definitely recommend, oh and also the audiobook is fantastic if you prefer audio! Check it out!
