Oh what a masterpiece this Indian movie. It is a grand cinematic experience running to packed houses all over the world.

This is the story of Queen Padmavati of Chittor in Rajasthan, India. She is the pride of every soul in the rajput community for her valor and bravery with which she saved her husband the King Rawal Ratan Singh of Chittor from the evil grasp of Mughal emperor Alaaudin Khilji, whi was known for his treacherous deeds.

You will witness some excellent performances while your eyes are mesmerized with every frame in the movie. From the sets to costume, makeup, camera work everything just falla in place to give you nothing but a lifetime cinematic experience. The story is one to be seen regardless of which language you belong.

The last 15 minutes of the movie sum up the story beautifully with the “jauhar” scene that sends a chill down your spine. You feel the pain yet the grit and valor with which all the women in Chittorgarh successfully maintained their dignity while unfortunately succumbing themselves to fire to defeat the evil intentions of Allaudin Khulji which is mention d through all these years through different scriptures.
