The top Yaba traders listed in Teknaf of Cox's Bazar do not meet. Panic spread among the common people. Hats and bazars are empty.

The next day, Sabrang UP member Akhter Kamal and the May 27 RAB were killed in a gunfight by Teknaf Municipality Ward councilor and former Upazila Juba League President Ekramul Huq. After that, Teknaf's permanent scene changed. The drug peddler godfathers are not seen publicly anywhere with hats and bazaars.
On the morning of May 30, most of the public representatives were absent at the anti-smuggling meeting of the Upazila Law and Order Committee at Teknaf Upazila Nirbahi Officer's Office.
